Five NTU subjects in global top 10

Nanyang Technological University, Singapore has scored its best performance with five subject areas in the global top 10, and 21 subjects in the world’s top 50, in the latest Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject announced today.

Five of NTU’s subject offerings rank among the world’s top 10. Materials Science (3rd) leads the pack, followed by Electrical & Electronic Engineering (6th), Communication & Media Studies (8th), Chemistry (9th) and Civil & Structural Engineering (10th).

Another six NTU disciplines rank among the world’s top 20. They are: Mechanical, Aeronautical & Manufacturing Engineering (11th), Chemical Engineering (12th), Computer Science & Information Systems (12th), Environmental Sciences (14th), Education (14th), and Library & Information Management (18th).
