Turn On – part of On the cusp exhibition

Turn On by Tromarama examines how technology reframes the everyday, reshaping perceptions of reality and mediating our relationship with the world. The electric fan is the central figure in this work that traces the entanglements between the self and the digital realm. This unassuming and ubiquitous appliance, used in Southeast Asia to combat heat and humidity, has come to symbolise survival and sustenance. Set on an endless, choreographed loop, a motley crew of fans whirs to life. The virtual airflow appears to set off a chain of events: the screen morphs into a billowing curtain; familiar objects and scenes of daily life are animated, as if stirred into motion by the fans.

Myth to Quantum: A Media Art Nexus compilation 2016-2025

The inaugural exhibition for INDEX: Stories in Motion features screen-based projects by Mark Chavez and Ina Conradi that trace a journey from mythology to the speculative space of quantum science.

A series of creative workshops for incoming freshmen to experience NTU's art: crafting iconic buildings in miniature, creating natural pigments from NTU's foliage and exploring the campus artworks.

NTU Museum and nature-guided art studio Wild Dot present Earth Explorations, a workshop to create natural colour pigments with earth around the NIE Art Gallery.

Very Momentary Exhibition: NTU

This light installation by House of VSE and NTU Museum transforms an otherwise ordinary space on campus into a joyful spectrum of colours after dark.

Construction in Every Corner

Using the multiple MRT construction sites on campus as a starting point, three NTU-trained artists examine liminal spaces, human connection, and nature’s representation in this group exhibition in 2025.

Sound Plot: Ulu

Sound Plot: Ulu is presented by NTU Museum and theatre development company Centre 42 in 2024/2025, an audio drama series paying homage to the diversity of people and the layers of history in the Jurong West region where the main campus is located.

OneNTU Mural

NTU Museum presents a community mural painted by students, staff and their families for OneNTU Day 2024. Located at AIA Canopy in North Spine, this 11m-long mural designed by Jaxton Su was inspired by NTU and its diverse and inclusive community.

Sites & Nature: A Collection of Remembering

NTU Museum's 2023 exhibition held at the NIE Art Gallery was an immersive experience tracing Singapore’s journey from a bustling port city to a flourishing garden metropolis inspired by the permanent art collections of NTU and NIE.

A Convergence of Art & Science

The 4.5m tall Loop outdoor sculpture with 1,200 butterflies was created by the NTU Community for The Arc and launched in 2019 with an exhibition 'A Convergence of Art and Science' providing a glimpse into Loop's project development from start to end.

Campus Art Trail Inaugural Launch 2018

NTU Museum marked its 10th anniversary in 2018 with the launch of an art trail around campus with over 40 diverse artworks by students and faculty to state-of-the-art buildings designed by world famous architects and state-gazetted heritage buildings.

NTU Trees: Upcycled

NTU Trees: Upcycled was a collaborative project between NTU Museum and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine in 2016 where trees felled to make way for development on campus were given a new lease of life and turned into unique and functional works of art.
