Health Care – Clinical Services and Insurance 


Please be informed of upcoming changes to the campus medical centre services and student healthcare insurance:

  • Until 31 December 2025:
    • Service Provider: Fullerton Healthcare Group
  • From 1 January 2026:
    • Service Provider: Raffles Medical Group, new campus clinic operator
    • Insurance Provider: AIA, primary healthcare insurance for students

Students are advised to plan their healthcare appointments and insurance matters accordingly.

Note:
Please call the private dental clinic within the medical centre at 6790-8331 for enquiries. Dental treatment is not covered under the Medical Scheme, so full private fees will apply.

Raffles Medical Group will take over as the new clinic operator. They will be renovating the existing clinic from 1 January 2026 to 31 March 2026
A temporary clinic will be set up at the  Nanyang Auditorium Annex, Lobby B1M from 1 January 2026 to 31 March 2026.

    Students

    • All matriculated full-time undergraduate, graduate, inbound exchange and inbound non-graduating students who have paid the Health Service fee are eligible for the Medical Scheme.
    • The scheme covers visits to clinics managed by the ​Fullerton Healthcare Group.

      • The scheme will cover visits to clinics managed under the ​AIA panel.

      • Please use the AIA+ plus app for details of the insurance scheme and a listing of clinics.

      • Please note that Raffles Medical clinics located outside of NTU are not part of the AIA panel. As such, there will not be reimbursement for claims made to these clinics.
      Staff
      • AONcare is the medical insurance provider for NTU employees.
      • AONcare continues to be our medical insurance provider for staff.

      • Raffles Medical @ NTU will be under the list of AONcare panel clinics.

      • Please note that Raffles Medical clinics located outside of NTU are not part of the AONcare panel. As such, any claims made will be on a reimbursement basis and subject to the terms and conditions applicable to non-panel clinics.
       
      1. All matriculated full-time undergraduate, graduate, inbound exchange and inbound non-graduating students who have paid the Student Health Service Fee are eligible for the Medical Scheme.
      2. This Fee is collected through the student bill.
      3. NTU employees are eligible for the Flexible Benefits (FlexBen@NTU).

        • Medication: Standard medication covered. Non-standard medication is chargeable.

        Telemedicine
        • Teleconsultation via WhiteCoat app (accessible via the AIA+ app) is covered under the AlA policy.
        • Cover up to 2 times per policy year
        • Pay S$3 co-payment
        • Medication will be delivered to you with no additional cost
         Please note that Teleconsultations with other providers is not covered by AlA and it will be at your own cost.
        Text-based Psychologist Support
        • Text-based Psychologist Support is available and covered under the AlA policy.

        • Consultation & Standard Medication: S$5 per consult (subsidised).
        • Reimbursement: Cashless transaction, subject to a maximum claim entitlement per year. If transaction exceeds maximum claim entitlement, the clinic will prompt for self-payment.
        1. Clinics Under Raffles Medical Group
        • Consultation & Medical fees: Special rates for NTU to be published soon.
        • Reimbursement: Payment at clinic and submit claims via FlexBen@NTU (Aon Care). Reimbursement excludes $5 co-payment and capped at $40 per visit, subject to a maximum claim entitlement per year.

        2. Clinics Under FlexBen@NTU (Aon Care)
        • Consultation & Standard Medication: S$5 per consult (subsidised).
        • Reimbursement: Cashless transaction, subject to a maximum claim entitlement per year. If transaction exceeds maximum claim entitlement, the clinic will prompt for self-payment. 
        Telemedicine  1. Raffles Medical Teleconsult
        • Consultation and Delivery: Special rates for NTU to be published soon.
        • Medication: Charged separately. 
        • Reimbursement: Payment for Teleconsult and submit claims via FlexBen@NTU (Aon Care). Reimbursement excludes $5 co-payment and capped at $40 per visit, subject to a maximum claim entitlement per year.

        2. Fullerton Healthcare Telemedicine Under FlexBen@NTU (Aon Care)
        • Consultation & Standard Medication: S$5 per consult (subsidised).
        • Delivery: Waived.
        • Reimbursement: Cashless transaction, subject to a maximum claim entitlement per year. If transaction exceeds maximum claim entitlement, Aon Care app will prompt for self-payment.

        There are several private clinics that are near NTU. You may wish to visit National University Health Systems (NUHS) for a comprehensive list of clinics in Singapore. Please note that visits to private clinics are at your own expense. ​

        We are dedicated to providing sensitive and confidential health care services through our clinics and we encourage all staff and students to consult our clinics’ doctors and health-care professionals for any health-related issues.

        1. When will Fullerton Health stop operating on campus?
        Fullerton Health’s services will end on 31 December 2025.

        2. Who will be the new clinic operator?
        From 1 January 2026, Raffles Medical Group will provide on-campus clinical services.

        3. Will there be a change in co-payment for staff and students?
        No, there is no change to the co-payment rates for consultation/medication to the Raffles Clinic @ NTU.

        • For staff,  $5 per consultation (including standard medication)
        • For students, $3 per consultation (including standard medication)

        4. What happens to my medical records?
        All medical records from Fullerton Health will be automatically transferred to Raffles Medical Group. No action is needed from you.

        5. Will there be a temporary clinic?
        Yes. While the new campus clinic is being refurbished from January to March 2026, a temporary clinic will operate at Nanyang Auditorium Annex, Lobby B1M, to ensure your medical services continue without disruption.
