Meet Our Team
Sintia Teddy-Ang
Executive Director
Sam Ong
Senior Assistant Director
“An avid adventurer, Sam has kayaked in multiple countries. After surviving a life-threatening leptospirosis infection from kayaking in contaminated rapids in the remote regions of Northern Thailand, his appreciation for UN SDG Goal 6 (clean water & sanitation) could not have been higher. An Environmental Engineer by training and alumnus of CEE, the opportunity to work at NTU’s Sustainability Office was not to be missed. Prior to joining NTU, Sam was leading environmental-sustainability related projects. When not at work, Sam will find any excuse to paddle the waterways of Singapore where no kayak has been in (some locations for good reasons…)"
Kamal Soundararajan
Assistant Director
"Prior to joining NTU in Aug 2023, Kamal had worked on energy sustainability and clean energy initiatives for over 10 years in various capacities including research, consultancy and public policy. In the public sector, he championed road mapping efforts in setting out Singapore’s 2025 and 2030 solar PV deployment plans (as part of the Singapore Green Plan). In the private sector, he has provided consultancy services to MNCs, energy utilities and public sector stakeholders that cover techno-commercial feasibility of energy technologies as well as market and regulatory advisory for electricity and gas. Kamal has a Master of Engineering in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Physics."
Kylie Zhang
Senior Assistant Manager
"With a background in Environmental Engineering, Kylie has the opportunity to explore her passion in sustainability and environmental protection. Her past job experiences in terrestrial and coastal environmental protection have enabled her to gain valuable knowledge on balancing urban development with environmental sustainability. She hopes to partner with the community to drive sustainable behavior change through collective efforts."
Lin Kaizeng
Senior Executive
"Having been actively involved in sustainability initiatives since his secondary school days, Kaizeng was happy to further his passion by pursuing a degree in Environmental Studies at the tertiary level. Through his engagement in various sustainability-related activities and continuous exposure to climate issues, he developed a strong conviction to be part of the sustainability sector and do his part for the planet. With experience in corporate sustainability and green student groups, Kaizeng aspires to drive sustainability adoption, whether through large-scale initiatives or small, everyday actions."
