Nanyang Research Programme (NRP)
The Nanyang Research Programme (NRP) is offered to JC1 students in Junior Colleges (JCs) and Year 5 students in Integrated Programme (IP) Schools.
The NRP offers a variety of research topics from NTU’s four Colleges – College of Engineering, College of Science, College of Humanities, Arts, & Social Sciences, and College of Business – as well as the National Institute of Education. It seeks to offer students with a keen interest in and aptitude for research the opportunity to engage in the process of intellectual inquiry by undertaking projects in a real research environment under the supervision of NTU faculty, scientists and researchers.
Participants in the NRP will undertake eight months of research activities (from April to December), either individually or in a pair, culminating in the submission of a Research Paper (in January the following year) and an Oral Presentation Assessment (in late February/early March).
