Sustainability-linked Bond (carbon emissions as KPI)
The Sustainability Performance Target (SPT) for NTU's Sustainability-linked bond is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2035, while aiming to reduce gross carbon emissions intensity by at least 50% from the 2019 baseline.

Yearly Performance Report of NTU's Sustainability-Linked Bond (carbon emissions as KPI)
As noted in Appendix 1 under the Reporting Criteria section of the Assurance Report by PWC, NTU reports its' carbon emissions with reference to the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol.
- From 2011 to 2019, Scope 1 emissions amounted to between 0.95% to 1.31% of NTU's total Scope 1 and Scope 2 gross carbon emissions.
- 2019 baseline emissions amounted to 78,607,586kgCO2e with 2019 gross floor area of 1,404,030m2
