Nanyang MBA retains spot as Singapore’s top MBA programme, rises to 12th place globally

NTU Singapore Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme has risen 10 spots globally to 12th place in the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2026 announced on 16 February.

Offered by Nanyang Business School (NBS), the NTU Nanyang MBA programme retains its spot as the top MBA programme in Singapore.

It is also now ranked second in Asia-Pacific among the MBA programmes offered in the region.

The ranking evaluates programmes using data collected from alumni who graduated three years prior, along with school performance metrics such as curriculum and research.

Professor Jun Yang, NBS Dean and President’s Chair in Finance said: “This year’s Financial Times ranking reflects the continued strength of the Nanyang MBA and, more importantly, the career outcomes of our graduates. As the rankings are based on alumni data, they are a meaningful indicator of how our programme translates into real-world impact. Our focus remains on strengthening what matters most: academic rigour, technological relevance and global exposure, so that our graduates are well prepared to lead with clarity and purpose.”

Strong salary and career outcomes for NTU MBA graduates

Nanyang MBA graduates recorded strong salary growth, with average salaries reaching US$194,918 three years after graduation. This represents a 136 per cent increase from pre-MBA salaries, highlighting the programme’s impact on long-term career advancement.

The NTU MBA programme was also ranked 2nd globally in the ranking’s Value for Money metric. This reflects the return on investment for MBA students and highlights strong financial outcomes relative to the total cost of the programme.

It is calculated using graduate salaries three years after graduation, programme length, tuition fees, and other associated costs, including income forgone during the MBA.

Ms Joanne Chee from the MBA Class of 2022, who is currently an account manager at global IT and consulting firm Wipro, said: “The Nanyang MBA was a defining milestone in my career. Learning alongside a diverse and accomplished cohort broadened my perspective and challenged the way I approached business problems. The strong industry exposure and network I built during the programme gave me the confidence and clarity to take my next career step, enabling me to pivot from the chemicals industry to information technology. It was a transformative experience that continues to shape how I lead and grow.”

The MBA programme scored well for its students’ career progression, ranking 8th in the world, as measured by changes in the alumni’s level of seniority and size of the organisation they work in now, compared with before their MBA.

The Nanyang MBA is known for its strong focus on leadership development, technology-enabled business perspectives, and close engagement with industry, supported by NBS’ position within a leading technological university.
