NTU hosts discussion on the role of AI in a post Covid-19 world

NTU Singapore held a panel discussion on the role of artificial intelligence in a post-pandemic world on 12 Oct 2020. The panel discussion was part of the Deep Learning Week, organised annually by the Machine Learning and Data Analytics Lab at the NTU School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Minister-in-charge of the Smart Nation Initiative Vivian Balakrishnan, who was the guest of honour at the launch night of the event, emphasised over a video call the need for university students to develop “deep technical skills” in areas such as data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI).
