Introduction

Procurement and contract management are crucial competencies for any industry that relies on consistency and efficiency for success. This course is designed to offer a comprehensive overview of contract and commercial relationships from a cross-industry, global perspective as it takes learners through the five key stages of procurement and contract management: Initiate, Bid, Develop, Negotiate and Manage. It will also cover fundamental principles, terminology, tools, techniques and strategies in procurement and contract management. Learners will be engaged in application-oriented assignments where they put their acquired knowledge into practice so as to reinforce their understanding of key concepts and enhance their learning experience.

This course is credit-bearing (3AU) and stackable to:
  • Graduate Certificate in Project Management (9 AU)
  • FlexiMasters in Project Management (15 AU)
  • Master of Science in Project Management (30 AU)
With a minimum Grade Point of 2.5 (which is equivalent to a letter grade of C+) achieved for each course.
