NTU Alumni Course Credits
This initiative also seeks to empower NTU alumni to upgrade their knowledge and upskill their profession to stay relevant in the ever-changing global workforce. From 1 November 2017, all NTU/NIE alumni (students who graduated with a diploma/degree from any of the undergraduate/postgraduate programmes offered by NTU/NIE) will each receive S$1,600 course credits.
From 1 July 2019, all NTU/NIE alumni may utilise their course credits of $1,600 to co-pay up to 50% of the nett fee (exclusive of prevailing GST) payable for courses offered by NTU-Continuing Education Training (CET) Units. At the same time, admin fee will be waived.

Undergraduate Class of 2021
- Undergraduate Class of 2021 will receive an additional S$1,600 in Bonus Alumni Course Credits (valid till June 2023)
- They are able to utilise together with their existing $1,600 Alumni Course Credits, in total $3,200 credits, to offset the full course fees (inclusive of prevailing GST) payable for courses offered by NTU's CET units.
- Class of 2021 may start to utilise both these course credits for courses starting from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2023.
- All unused Bonus Alumni Course Credits will be forfeited upon expiration. The usual Alumni Course Credits can be used, terms and conditions applies. ( see Alumni Course Credits FAQ).

The launch of the NTU alumni course credits seek to empower NTU alumni to undertake reskilling, upskilling and deep-skilling efforts in order to stay relevant in the ever-changing global workforce.
NTU Alumni Course Credits
From 1 November 2017, all NTU/NIE alumni (students who graduated with a diploma/degree from any of the undergraduate/postgraduate programmes offered by NTU/NIE) are eligible to receive the NTU Alumni Course Credits, regardless of nationality. Each alumnus will receive a one-time course credits of S$1,600.00.
Bonus Alumni Course Credits
To support the undergraduate Class of 2021 who are graduating at a time of uncertainty, the undergraduate Class of 2021 will receive an additional S$1,600 in Bonus Alumni Course Credits (valid till June 2023).
All NTU/NIE alumni will receive NTU alumni course credits (ACCs) of S$1,600.00 to co-pay up to 50% of the nett fee (exclusive of prevailing GST) payable for courses with starting date from 1 July 2019 onwards.
For NTU Class of 2021 and earlier cohort
From 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2023, alumni of undergraduate Class of 2021 may utilise both their ACCs and Bonus Alumni Course Credits, in total $3,200 credits to offset the full course fees (inclusive of 8% GST starting from 1 Jan 2023) as indirect discounts on SSG-funded courses offered by NTU’s CET units until 31 March 2024. From 1 July 2023, all unused Bonus Alumni Course Credits will be forfeited. The usage of their existing ACCs will follow the normal terms and conditions like all other Alumni as below.
Earlier cohort may utilise their ACCs of S$1,600.00 to co-pay up to 50% of the nett fee (inclusive of 8% GST starting from 1 Jan 2023) payable for courses as indirect discounts on SSG-funded courses offered by NTU’s CET units until 31 March 2024.
Alumni should apply for course(s) which commence no later than 6 months after 31 March 2024. Refer to table 1.1 for example of the treatment for indirect discounts.
For NTU Class of 2022 and beyond cohorts
From 1 July 2019, NTU alumni may utilise their course credits of S$1,600.00 to co-pay up to 50% of the nett fee (exclusive of prevailing GST) payable for courses as indirect discounts on SSG-funded courses offered by NTU’s CET units until 31 March 2024. Alumni should apply for course(s) which commence no later than 6 months after 31 March 2024. Refer to table 1.1 for example of the treatment for indirect discounts.

Availability of places and other terms and conditions, are subject to available capacity and granted at the sole discretion of the course organiser. It is advisable to check with the course organiser for details.
There will be GST charged on full course fee for each course. The alumni course credits of S$1,600 cannot be used to offset the GST.
However, alumni of undergraduate Class of 2021 may utilise both their alumni course credits and bonus alumni course credits, in total $3,200 credits to offset the full fees (including GST) for NTU's Continuing Education and Training (CET) courses that are SSG-funded.
Note: NTU Alumni Course Credits is only applicable for self-sponsored participant.
No, you will not be eligible to use the NTU alumni course credits in conjunction with other discount(s) (E.g. 20% alumni discount, 10% group discount, NTUC affiliation etc.).
For Standard (Non-funded) Courses,
- if you choose to use the NTU alumni course credits, you will not be allowed to tap on other discount(s).
- if you choose NOT to use the NTU alumni course credits, you will still be eligible for other discount(s) on short courses.
