Introduction
This course explores the fundamentals of Project Management, equipping learners with skills and competencies necessary for effective project execution. By delving into various aspects such as project organisation structures, stakeholder management, scope, quality, schedule, risk, cost, and contract management, learners will develop the ability to efficiently solve an array of project-related challenges. Learners will explore the role of a Project Manager and gain proficiency in project closure. Additionally, this course addresses conflict resolution strategies and human resource management principles, emphasising the importance of team collaboration and strong leadership, allowing learners to confidently embrace new roles and challenges.This course is credit-bearing (3AU) and stackable to:
- Graduate Certificate in Project Management (9 AU)
- FlexiMasters in Project Management (15 AU)
- Master of Science in Project Management (30 AU)
Learners will receive their Statement of Accomplishment (for a grade of D and above) or Certificate of Participation for each course—dependent upon their assessment performance.
As the micro-credential courses are only offered in this FlexiMasters in Project Management programme, learners are required to enrol into this programme and complete all required courses within this programme.
Recommended for learners employed in Project Management-related roles or have previous work experience in Project Management-related roles, so as to better benefit from and appreciate the programme contents.
