Lo Kien Foh

Mr Lo Kien Foh has more than three decades of experience in automotive and mobility engineering. As President and CEO of Continental Automotive Singapore, he heads one of Continental’s largest R&D centers in Asia.

Kien Foh’s prolific career began in electronic engineering and steadily progressed into product development and design, leading teams to deliver automotive components and systems for aftermarket and OEM customers worldwide.

Under his leadership, Continental Automotive Singapore has been transformed into an R&D powerhouse, delivering sophisticated and innovative products to customers globally. It is also a driving force for tomorrow’s Software-Defined Vehicle, with highly skilled engineers working in areas such as High-Performance Computers, AI, Robotics and Cybersecurity.

Kien Foh was instrumental to the establishment of a joint research corporate laboratory with Nanyang Technological University in 2019, which brings together top academics and Continental engineers to translate scientific research into commercially viable mobility solutions.

He is a thought leader contributing to many public, industry and institutional committees in areas such as Smart Mobility, Autonomous Driving and Electrification. He is currently a member of the NTU Board of Trustees and sits on other academic and industry advisory boards. He is also Co-Chair of the Smart Mobility Group at EuroCham Singapore.

He holds master’s degrees in engineering and finance.
