12 solid Acacia planks form a welcoming semi-circle, the warm polished wood inviting connection with nature and each other. High backrests and open views between the slats allow for privacy without seclusion or isolation from the surrounding space. Whether you're taking a break between classes or diving into a deep discussion, Tête-à-Tête is about bringing people together, one conversation at a time.
Tête-à-Tête is part of the NTU Trees: Upcycled series, where several artists were invited to repurpose wood from trees that were felled in the building of the campus.

Fabrizio Galli is an Italian designer and was a visiting artist and former faculty member at the School of Art, Design and Media. He oversaw the creation of several public art sculptures in NTU like Bloom, Dandelion, Fern, Loop and Tête-à-Tête.
