Introduction

At the end of the programme, learners will be able to:
  • Design and build AI-enabled web and enterprise applications
  • Integrate generative AI, Large Language Models, and existing AI services into software systems using APIs to build RAG-powered chatbots, configure AI agents, and basic agentic system
  • Implement backend services, APIs and data persistence
  • Architect secure, scalable, production-ready solutions and apply DevSecOps practices to deploy and manage AI applications
  • Deliver a portfolio-ready GenAI capstone project

Aspire to work as an AI Engineer, AI Applications Engineer, or AI-driven Full-Stack Developer? Look no further.

The Advanced Professional Certificate in AI Engineering is designed to help professionals pivot confidently into Singapore’s fastest-growing tech roles. This programme equips learners with both the engineering depth and applied AI expertise to stay competitive in a digital-first economy.

The programme equips learners to design, build, and deploy modern software systems powered by generative AI. Through five progressive modules, participants master practical skills in applying AI models and retrieval pipelines, creating responsive frontends, implementing secure backends, and automating deployment with DevSecOps practices.

The programme culminates in a GenAI capstone project, where learners design, develop, and deploy an AI-powered application that demonstrates job-ready capabilities.

This programme caters to a broad audience - from those with foundational programming skills transitioning from IT support or system administration, to existing developers seeking to enhance their AI capabilities

Individuals with prior knowledge in programming fundamentals will enhance their learning experience and deepen their understanding of the curriculum.

All applicants will undergo a shortlisting process that includes resume submission, a pre-course technical assessment, and review by instructors and career consultants to assess suitability before acceptance.
