Introduction
The rapid development of generative artificial intelligence (AI) has brought about promises and challenges for various sectors, including education. This course aims to enhance educators' understanding of generative AI, including its affordances and limitations, and support them in using generative AI in their respective educational contexts to enhance teaching, learning and assessment.
Objectives:
- Articulate the rationale for using generative AI in their respective contexts
- Identify the strengths and limitations of using generative AI for the teaching and learning of their respective subjects/disciplines
- Conceptualize ideas for the meaningful use of generative AI for their respective contexts
