Introduction
This course provides participants with the audiological knowledge and skills needed in supporting and maximising student’s auditory potential in various settings. It introduces the functions of the various parts of the ear and the physics of sound.
- To provide knowledge of the audiological assessment procedures and the interpretation of the test results.
- To develop an awareness of audiological and amplification devices and their suitability in the various settings.
- To develop skills in management of classroom and personal audiological devices.
