Cheng Lu Pien
Dr Cheng is the Associate Dean, Professional and Leadership Development at NIE’s Office of Graduate Studies and Professional Learning. As a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics Education, she has dedicated her career to enhancing mathematics teaching and learning, with a strong focus on innovative teaching practices, reflective practice and task design. With a PhD in Mathematics Education from the University of Georgia, and a multiple-time recipient of the Excellence in Teaching Commendation Award at NIE, she teaches a wide range of courses in initial teacher preparation, professional development programmes, and graduate courses in mathematics education.
