Chue Kah Loong

Dr Chue Kah Loong is a lecturer with the Psychology and Child & Human Development Academic Group. Dr Chue received his BSc(Math) at the University of Warwick and MA(Math) at UC Berkeley. He earned his EDD in 2016 at NIE and was awarded the NIE EdD Tan Poey Quee book prize award for best dissertation. Prior to joining NIE, he has held various teaching and management appointments at a junior college and a secondary school. He was also an adjunct lecturer at various private higher education institutes, specializing in teaching mathematics and statistical courses. Currently, he teaches assessment and measurement courses at the pre-service, in-service and graduate levels. His research interests include educational and psychological assessment and measurement, student wellbeing and motivation. He has also conducted research in team-based learning and successfully implemented it in the classroom.
