Ted Tan Fellow, Enterprise Singapore Chairman, SEEDS Capital Chairman, Innovation Partner for Impact Singapore Adjunct Professor, Nanyang Business School, NTU Ted Tan has extensive experience in establishing strategic partnerships, building high performance organisations and growing successful enterprises. Ted brings to boards more than 30 years of experience in leadership, mentoring, profit and loss responsibility, governance, risk management and building high performance organisations. He spent the first 18 years of his career in the private sector and held senior positions including CEO and Managing Director of U.S. and UK companies. At GE Information Services, he was awarded the Markmakers Award 3 times for achieving the Top 1% sales in Asia Pacific. Ted was instrumental in the public listing of a Fintech company before joining the public service in 2003 for the next 18 years. He is an advisor and mentor to ESG in industry and enterprise development and establishing strategic partnerships to help start-ups and enterprises grow into globally competitive companies. He is currently the Board Member of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS), and the Committee for Private Education (CPE) of SkillsFuture Singapore. Ted is also the Chairman of the Aquaculture Innovation Centre (AIC) and Member of the Advisory Panel of the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Nanyang Technology University.

Lee Kin Wai is Associate Professor of Accounting at Nanyang Business School in Nanyang Technological University. He holds a First Class Honours Degree (with University Medal) in Accounting, MBA (distinction in finance) and Phd degree. He is a member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Singapore, Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants and American Accounting Association. Dr. Lee has served as the Deputy Chairman of the Singapore Shell Cooperative, a member of Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountant Journal Editorial Advisory Panel, an editor of Asian Academy of Management Journal of Accounting and Finance, a member of the Corporate Governance Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Singapore and a member of Singapore Compact for Corporate Social Responsibility. Prior to joining academia, Dr. Lee had extensive experience in accounting and finance and was the Group Accounting Manager in a publicly listed multinational corporation. Dr. Lee specializes in financial statement analysis, capital market research in accounting, corporate governance and valuation. His research on corporate governance and financial accounting standards has been published in international accounting and finance journals such as Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Accounting Auditing and Finance, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, Journal of Multinational Financial Management, Review of Pacific Basin Financial Markets and Policies, Singapore Accountant and Accounting and Finance Journal and the business press such as Business Times and Straits Times. In 2007, he received the Teacher of the Year Award for the MBA programme. In 2010, he received the Teacher of the Year Award (Accounting). In 2010, he received the Nanyang Award for Excellence In Teaching by Nanyang Technological University. In 2018, he received the Teaching Excellence Award at Nanyang Business School and Teacher of the Year Award (Accountancy) at Nanyang Technological University. In 2019, he received the Teaching of the Year Award (Masters of Science in Accountancy) at Nanyang Business School and Nanyang Education Award (School) at Nanyang Technological University. In 2021, he received Nanyang Education Award (College) at Nanyang Technological University.

Alvin Ng Chief Operating Officer, Smart Cities, Asia Pacific, Aboitiz Data Innovation Adjunct Associate Professor, Nanyang Business School, NTU Alvin Ng is the Chief Operating Officer for Smart Cities of Aboitiz Data Innovation (ADI). He plays a key role in continuing the advancement of ADI’s mission to drive the adoption of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence tools and solutions around smart cities. Prior to this, as the Vice President of Digital Solutions, APAC, Johnson Controls, Alvin was responsible for driving the digital and sustainability growth strategy for Asia Pacific region, which includes driving and executing initiatives that increase market penetration, providing relevant digital solutions in the building sector, with focus on digital business revenue growth, partner offerings, sales cycle support and ecosystem representation. Alvin has over 24 years of experience in global sales and product management and has held a series of senior global leadership roles with multinational companies like Wincor Nixdorf AG, Cisco Systems and Rosenbluth International. Prior to joining Johnson Controls, he worked for General Electric as the General Manager for GE Digital, Asia. In addition to his role as the Industry-Faculty lead for ‘Business Consulting’ and ‘Leader as a Coach’ programs for the MBA School, he teaches Digital Transformation, AI for business, Internet of Things and Sustainability leadership programs. He also plays the role of Senior Career Fellow as an executive coach to the Global Executive MBA students.

Associate Professor Lum Kit-Wye (LLB (Hons) NUS; LLM (NUS), Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore) was in private practice at a local law firm before joining the Nanyang Business School where she has taught business law, negotiation and dispute resolution to both the undergraduates and the participants of the Nanyang MBA. In 2002, she won NTU’s Teacher of the Year Award for the Nanyang Business School. She also won the Nanyang Business School Award for Teacher of the Division in 2002. In 2012 and 2022, she won the Nanyang Business School Divisional Teaching Excellence Award. In 2015, she was given the Outstanding Volunteer Award in recognition of her contribution as a volunteer mediator at the Singapore State Courts. She is an experienced trainer and has conducted many negotiation and conflict resolution workshops for judiciaries, government agencies and private organisations in Singapore, Korea, Brunei, the Philippines, Cambodia, Fiji, India, Sri Lanka and Thailand. She is the author of Principles of Law for Engineers, a text aimed at laws particularly relevant to engineers, as well as co-author of Contract Law. She was also a contributor to the Halsbury Laws of Singapore (2009). She is co-author of the Singapore Mediation Handbook. She is on the Singapore International Mediation Centre’s panel of International Mediators, a Principal Mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre, an accredited mediator on the Panel of Mediators with the State Courts Centre for Dispute Resolution, a SIMI Certified Mediator and an IMI Certified Mediator. Her current area of research interest is in negotiation and mediation.

Dr YAN Li is currently Senior Lecturer in Nanyang Business School (NBS) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Prior to this position, he took the dual appointment as Professor of Practice in Strategic Management, and Director of Executive Education & International MBA in International Business School Suzhou (IBSS) at Xi'an Jiaotong Liverpool University (XJTLU). He was Senior Lecturer of Strategic Management at Lee Kong Chian School of Business (LKCSB) and Program Director, in Executive Development (ExD) at Singapore Management University (SMU). He also worked in Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF) at Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU), taking the responsibility of Director of Executive Education, China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), and École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC, Montréal), Canada. Dr. YAN’s research areas include: international business, strategic management, business model design and innovation (blockchain & cryptocurrency, financial inclusion & social impact investment), radical and unexpected organisational changes, complexity and emotional management in times of crisis from an institutional perspective with qualitative and historical approaches; and more precisely, research topics are: local-global dynamics, business model innovation (blockchain and FinTech business model design), micro-institution’s impact on public sector organizations, planned and unexpected radical organizational changes, strategy process and role of emotion management in situation of crises, collective emotion and social behaviour. Besides his research, Li YAN has been taking leading roles in strategy formulation and implementation consulting projects and designing corporate programmes tailor-made for global and Asia-Pacific headquarters. MNC clients include Danieli, Sodexo, Bunge, Samsung, BD, IBM, Merck, EY, Jaguar Land Rover, Nestlé, RGE, Towers Watson, Omnicom, L’Oréal, AB-InBev, Nitto Denko, Petrobras, Shanghai GM, and CreditEase, Noah Wealth Management, and Newbanker. Lars Droste Partner Development Manager, Google Cloud As the Partner Development Manager for Google Cloud, Lars oversees the APAC and Japan regions. In this role, he leads and manages Google Cloud Platform partnerships, drawing upon his extensive industry experience to help partners optimize the potential of Google Cloud offerings in the marketplace. Through his profound grasp of market dynamics and tech nuances, Lars empowers partners to enhance the delivery of Google Cloud solutions. This, in turn, aids clients in integrating data-driven insights from areas such as operations, finance, supply chain, management, big data, data warehousing, and application modernization into their daily operations. Prior to his tenure at Google, Lars held a series of directorial roles over a decade at SAP, spanning both the UAE, APAC and Japan territories. Beyond Google, Lars shares his expertise as a part-time lecturer at Nanyang Business School, educating students at the Masters and executive levels on emerging technologies, practical implications, and strategies for successful adaptation.

Mark Laudi Founder and CEO, Hong Bao Media Gallup-certified CliftonStrengths coach Mark Laudi is an accomplished media mentor, business conference anchor, and radio and financial television current affairs show host. He is a veteran of the traditional and new media, with 25 years' experience in print, radio, television, new and social media, and communications coach to senior business and government leaders in Asia and the Middle East. Between 1999 and 2006, Mark anchored and produced regional network television business news programs at CNBC Asia Pacific. He anchored Squawk Box, and performed various roles including Australia Editor, and Sydney Bureau Chief. From 1997-1999, Mark hosted news programs at MediaCorp, and was a member of the inaugural production and presentation team of English-language talk radio station CNA938. He is a member of the Asia Pacific Association of Communications Directors (APACD), the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID), the Investor Relations Professionals Association Singapore, SGTech, AustCham Singapore, and the Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry & Commerce.
