Introduction
This is Module 1 of the Executive Certificate in Corporate and Environmental Sustainability Programme offered by Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University.
Understand the fundamentals of climate change, the associated risks and apply risk management insights to corporate strategy
Gain an appreciation of the concept of circular economy and key issues, strategy and technology in corporate sustainability
Understand a strategy framework for sustainable business practices such as lean and green operations and responsible sourcing
Gain an overview of various clean energy technologies and efficient energy management
Appreciate the complex nature of the energy trilemma (cost, environmental impacts, security) and clean energy decision-making.
Learn about low-carbon energy policies and plans, with a review of the Singapore power sector decarbonisation plan.
Understand frameworks and tools that help businesses innovate and design solutions with sustainability considerations.

Participants do not need to contact SkillsFuture for funding application before course registration. Participants will be invoiced the nett amount after funding and GST.
SkillsFuture Credit - for self-sponsored
On top of the above funding schemes, Singapore Citizens, aged 25 and above and self-sponsored may use their SkillsFuture Credit (base tier) to defray part of the nett course fee. SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit - for SME-sponsored

NTU Alumni Course Credits
All self-sponsored NTU/NIE alumni may utilise their Alumni Course Credits (ACCs), up to $500 per course/module, as direct discounts on the course/module fee before any applicable eligible funding is applied.
