Bachelor of Business with Second Major in Sustainability

Single Degree with 2nd Major

Programme Type

Full-time

This new second major provides students with the foundation and practical tools for understanding the concepts of sustainability and applying them to real world scenarios. It is designed to follow on sympathetically from the ICC course “Sustainability: Society, Economy and Environment”. The curriculum will be structured according to the three traditional pillars of sustainability: Society, Environment and Economy, colloquially known as People, Planet and Profit. At NTU, the students will then apply this knowledge through two additional pillars of Practice and Policy.
Incoming freshmen with qualifications such as the A-Level, International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma, NUS High School diploma, or Polytechnic diploma are eligible for exemption from relevant Accountancy or Business core courses.

Your eligibility for exemptions will be assessed based on the criteria outlined in Annex A. NBS course exemption eligibility for polytechnic graduates is based on the programme they have completed prior to joining NTU, and not on a course-by-course basis.

After admissions to the BBus programme, incoming freshmen may apply for exemption by writing to NBS Student Administration at [email protected]. Necessary supporting documents must be provided.

Students enrolled in BBus (Single Major) with Second Major in Sustainability must complete the graduation requirements for both BBus (Single Major) and Second Major in Sustainability.
