Offering NRP as H3 Science Research

JC1/Year 5 students who are doing the GCE A-Level syllabus can opt to offer their NRP project as an H3 Science Research project.

Only projects that fall under the Engineering and Sciences categories in the NRP can be offered as H3 Science Research projects. The eligible projects are clearly denoted in the Project Synopses.

The confirmation of offer for H3 Science Research students will occur in August.

Should a student decide to continue his/her project as H3 Science Research, he/she needs to sign an acceptance form. After submission of the form, the student will be deemed to have registered with the Singapore Examination and Assessment Board (SEAB) for the H3 Science Research.

If a student decides not to continue his/her project as H3 Science Research at this stage, he/she can continue to work on the project as an NRP project without any penalty.

The course fee payable per student after the deduction of the MOE grant is $60. Students will be informed of the payment procedures by their school.

Students who have confirmed their offer for H3 Science Research but decided to withdraw at a later stage must complete and submit the MOE H3 Withdrawal Form to their NRP Teacher Coordinator. Please take note of the withdrawal schedule and the corresponding penalty(s).
