Introduction
Core Module 3 (CM3): Sustainability Reporting is an intensive 3-day course designed to equip participants the fundamentals of sustainability reporting through the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) pillars. It addresses the implications of climate change, highlighting its critical role in the foundation of modern business practices. This course emphasizes the importance of responsible leadership in meeting community and societal expectations. Participants will gain essential knowledge and skills to navigate the regulatory requirements and best practices in sustainability reporting, enabling them to drive sustainable initiatives within their organizations.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Drive the choice of sustainability reporting frameworks.
- Develop and implement sustainability reporting strategies and policies.
- Conduct materiality assessments and set ESG targets.
- Collect and ensure the integrity of sustainability data.
- Draft and refine sustainability reports in line with best practices.
- Improve reporting based on third-party audits.
- Report portfolio performance and explain carbon market developments to stakeholders
This course is suitable for:
- Engineers who plan to register for the CEng (Sustainability) certification with IES Chartered Engineering Board.
- Engineers working or intending to work in the real estate, built environment, environmental, logistics, energy, manufacturing and related industries.
- Engineers who purely for the purpose of enhancing their skills and knowledge in sustainability.
