Data Science

In our modern technological world, big data are everywhere. However, data are useless unless we can make sense of them. This is where data science comes in. This course is designed to introduce students to the basics of data science methodology and enable them to apply such methodology to real problems. For educators, this course empowers them to perform data visualization, data preparation and prediction tasks. Teachers who understand the fundamentals of data science can better bring across to their students the application of statistics in data science and how industries make sense of big data to make strategic decisions and improve performances.
