Introduction
In this course, participants will review recent practitioner studies literature and established frameworks of student engagement, and then learn to apply reverse engineering using AI, to equip students with the tools necessary to better engage students in the classroom.
The course will cover the following areas:
- Definitions and concepts associated with student engagement (e.g., behavioural, affective, cognitive and social engagement)
- Evaluating AI-integrated strategies for student engagement from literature reviews and case studies
By the end of this course, participants should be able to:
- Understand important concepts and frameworks of student engagement
- Apply AI-integrated strategies for student engagement in the classroom
