Introduction
This module builds on the interdisciplinary approach to care across the spectrum of life limiting disease, including at the terminal phase of a patient’s life. Non-pharmacological and pharmacological approaches to care will be covered in greater depth with regards to medical, nursing and rehabilitative applications with consideration of its’ adaptation across different healthcare settings, including the patient’s home.Learners will be exploring care of patients with greater complexity of needs and issues, formulating management plans taking into account ethical principles and goals of care.
