Pioneer Hall Freshmen Orientation Programme

Under the dazzling lights of a mysterious carnival, a new generation of performers gathers beneath the grand tent. Drawn from every corner of the world, these showmans arrive to form a circus unlike any other, the legendary Pioneer Palooza. All desperate to shine under the spotlight, they have yet to discover the secrets and competitions hidden behind the blinding lights and the roaring applause.

Within the circus, all 6 clans claim to be the true dominator of the stage. Each has their ambition and strength, but the pursuit of glory should not be accomplished by themselves. In the heat of this competition, beware of every smile, as they may turn out to be the songs that sirens sing. When the curtain rises and the crowd cheers, beware not to be the one that falls. Mask up, fellow performers, and lure the crowd with your charisma. It is your turn to take over the centre of the stage.

Founded in 2014, Pioneer Hall is NTU's 18th Hall of Residence. Home to a diverse range of students from all colleges of NTU, we house more than 600 local and international students, including recipients of the Premier Scholar Programmes.

Our hall motto, 'Aude Aliquid Dignum', translates to 'Dare Something Worthy'. As you immerse yourself in the 3 days of orientation, curiosity will guide your steps as you embark on a journey that defies the ordinary. Interactive challenges will test your resolve, pushing you to unlock the secrets that lie within.

Through daily adventures, team efforts to overcome obstacles, and shared moments of triumph and revelation, you will form connections that will last a lifetime. Pioneer Hall becomes more than just a place but a sanctuary where lifelong friendships are formed, creating a support network that will accompany you throughout your university journey and beyond.
