Undergraduate Concession Card
UNDERGRADUATE CONCESSION CARDS
Only full-time matriculated undergraduates are eligible to apply for the Undergraduate Concession card.
Undergraduate Concession Card holders are entitled to purchase monthly concession passes to enjoy unlimited travel on basic buses and train services.
APPLICATION
Freshmen
You can apply for the Undergraduate Concession Card during the bulk application exercise conducted from July to August. You will be notified via NTU email on the collection details of your new concession card after Transitlink has processed your application. Please note that name reflected on the Concession Card will be capped at 32 characters based on Transitlink’s system requirement. For names which exceed 32 characters, the name shall be shortened to meet the requirement.

MONTHLY CONCESSION PASSES (MCPs)
Tertiary students can enjoy travel concessions through the use of Monthly Concession Passes (MCPs), which offer one month of unlimited travel on train and/or basic bus services (trunk and feeder services).
MCPs can be purchased from any TransitLink Ticket Office, TransitLink Kiosk, Add Value Machine, General Ticketing Machine or Assisted Service Kiosk.

EXTENSION OF CONCESSIONARY ELIGIBILITY
If you are NTU student, submit online request via Ask One Stop
, and for NIE student, email to samerah.tunot@nie.edu.sg, at least 10 working days before the expiry date of your existing concessionary eligibility period*.
Provide the following details in your extension request to Transitlink for processing:
- Name as stated on your Undergraduate Concession Card
- Matric Number
- Expected date (DD/MM/YYYY) of your study completion
Transitlink will take about 10 working days to process your application for extension. You will be notified via email on your application status and the date to activate the extension of your concessionary eligibility period.
CHECKING CONCESSION CARD EXPIRY DATE
You may check the concession card expiry date at any TransitLink Ticket Office, TransitLink Kiosk,
Add Value Machine, General Ticketing Machine or Assisted Service Kiosk.
Upon the expiry of the concessionary eligibility period, the undergraduate concession card can be used for a further 4 months but will not be able to purchase any concession pass. It can only be used to purchase Adult Monthly Travel Pass only. Please refer to Transitlink Website for more details.
