CTLP organises a variety of events each year, expanding our faculty development offerings to enable NTU faculty and staff to participate and experience. This includes outreach and collaborative efforts, or developing teaching-related resources with partner departments across NTU, external institutions or distinguished educators.
Held in early October each year, NTU’s Annual Learning and Teaching Conference aims to promote excellence in higher education teaching practices through the open exchange of expertise and collaboration on new trends and practices. This conference draws over 200 attendees, comprised of NTU faculty, staff and students, as well as educators from other organisations in Singapore and throughout the region.
Each month, our webinar seeks to engage NTU Faculty, staff and students to share in innovative and meaningful educational practices. Organised in hour-long sessions by NTU faculty or invited guests, we cover a wide range of topics pertinent to higher education teaching and learning.
Working with departments across NTU and other institutions, CTLP collaborates on various projects and initiatives in developing resources in support of growing the teaching and learning culture at NTU. Some of our collaboration projects
and events include:
- Student Learning Experience Videos in Schools and Colleges
- Undergraduate Modules on student Wellbeing and Anti-harassment

- Falling Walls Lab
- Transition and Orientation Programme (TOP) Videos for Freshmen
- Undergraduate Orientation Coordinating Committee (UOCC)
