NTU Singapore President on Singapore’s AI future
In a wide-ranging interview with Lianhe Zaobao executive editor Han Yong May, NTU President Professor Ho Teck Hua, who is also the founding executive chairman of AI Singapore, shared his views about how AI can help to improve lives, AI developments in Singapore including the SEA-LION open-source language model, as well as the impact of US-China AI competition on Singapore and the role Singapore can play as a trusted neutral AI hub.
