FAQs
Discovery Days is a key part of NTU’s Transition and Orientation Programme (TOP). It’s a month-long series of fun, interactive activities designed to help you explore life at NTU - socially, personally, academically, and beyond the classroom. It’s your chance to discover the opportunities that will shape your NTU experience.
Discovery Days is specially created for first-year NTU freshmen. Whether you’re feeling curious, excited, or a little uncertain - Discovery Month is for you.
Expect bite-sized experiences like mini workshops, pop-up booths, sports and arts try-outs, and networking sessions. Each activity is themed around a transition domain: Personal, Academic, Social, or Co-Curricular. Some are playful, some are reflective - all are designed to help you settle in, meet others, and start strong.
Nope, Discovery Days is completely optional - but highly encouraged! It’s your one-time opportunity to explore opportunities in NTU through a guided, creative, and student-friendly experience. Come for the fun, stay for the insights.
Sign up via the “Discovery Days Programmes” page – simply click into any of the events you are interested in, and follow the steps!
Absolutely! In fact, it’s more fun that way. Some stations are designed for solo reflection, while others are perfect for pairs or small groups. Bring a friend or make new ones along the way.
