A postgraduate coursework-based programme focusing on engineering discipline on the design, operation

and optimisation of chemical and process plants.


This programme is designed for students and working adults with either a chemical science or engineering background, or with a biological or clinical science background, who wish to further their education in Chemical Engineering.

  • Students could take electives in chemistry, biochemistry and biomedical engineering​
  1. Bachelor’s degree with minimum honours (distinction) or equivalent from a reputable University.
  2. Minimum TOEFL score of 85 or IELTS score of 6.0 (only if your university first degree was not taught in the English language).
  3. Special consideration will be given on a case-by-case basis to applicants with relevant work experience and recommendation letters.

Submission of Application

Please ensure that all mandatory and supporting documents are uploaded in the online Graduate Admission System before submitting your application. The College will not assist to upload documents on behalf of applicants. Submission of hardcopy documents is not required at the application stage.

The tuition fees for Academic Year 2025/26 as follows:

Deposit Fee

Tuition Fee (subject to annual revision by the school.)

Payment Schedule

- Full-time students will be billed in three trimesters     

- Part-time student will be billed in six trimesters

*The total tuition fee for the programme is SGD 49,050, based on 30 Academic Units (AUs). The course is charged on a per-trimester basis according to the number of AUs taken, at a rate of SGD 1,635 per AU for AY2025/26.

*The total tuition fee for the programme is SGD 51,012, based on 30 Academic Units (AUs). The course is charged on a per-trimester basis according to the number of AUs taken, at a rate of ~SGD 1,700 per AU for AY2026/27.

 

Tuition fee supporting schemes include the following:

  • 10% discount for NTU alumni
  • S$5,000 subsidy for SC/SPR students, and a $10,000 subsidy for SC/SPR students.

  1. All fees listed is INCLUDING GST 9%
  2. The deposit of S$5,450 is payable upon acceptance of the offer (non-refundable)
  3. A one-time miscellaneous fee will be billed every academic year. Please click here for details.
  4. Tuition fees do not include the cost of recommended textbooks and other course materials. The student must bear the cost of travel, accommodation, and miscellaneous expenses.
  5. All incentives/subsidies will be distributed evenly across the entire billing period, whether it is 3 trimesters for full-time students or 6 trimester for part-time students.
  6. The fees are reviewed annually and are subject to revision.
