The AI will see you now: diagnosing mental disorders intelligently

According to the World Health Organisation, one in eight people around the world lives with a mental disorder and poor mental health costs the global economy USD $1 trillion in lost productivity annually. 

However, it is challenging to diagnose mental conditions using existing methods. This often results in delays in diagnosis and treatment. 

Leveraging the power of artificial intelligence, NTU scientists are developing tools to detect various mental health disorders early for effective and personalised treatment.
