Hey, students, here’s some heartwarming news: A $110 million gift from UOB and the Wee Foundation to NTU will open doors to new opportunities. For a start, the donation will support undergrads who need financial aid and fund a venture creation programme that empowers students to solve real problems in areas like artificial intelligence and sustainability. In a serendipitous twist, the ceremony announcing this was hosted by Year 2 student Angel Lau (watch video below), who is a beneficiary of a similar life-changing gift as a Wee Cho Yaw Future Leaders Award recipient.
