University Welcome
At NTU, University Welcome is the university’s official welcome session for incoming freshmen, eld at the start of the academic year as part of the broader orientation period.
It serves as a shared starting point for all new students, where they are formally welcomed into the NTU community, introduced to university life, and given an overview of what to expect in their educational journey at NTU. In essence, University Welcome is about setting the tone for the NTU experience - helping freshmen feel a sense of belonging, understand the possibilities ahead, and begin their transition into university life with clarity and confidence.

Session 2: 9.30 AM - 10.35 AM
(For Freshmen from CEE, EEE, CCEB, SPMS)
Session 3: 12.30 PM - 1.35 PM
(For Freshmen from NBS, NIE, ASE, SBS)
Session 4: 4.00 PM - 5.05 PM
(For Freshmen from WKWSCI, ADM, SSS, SoH, LKCMed)
The University Welcome sessions will be held at Nanyang Auditorium (50 Nanyang Avenue, Singapore 639798).
The University Welcome is incorporated into Orientation Programmes of each school; freshmen participating in School Orientation Programmes will automatically be attending University Welcome.
Students who are not involved in School Orientation are still welcomed to attend the University Welcome of your respective schools.
