A postgraduate coursework-based programme with a strong engineering focus on solving real-world problems through chemical modelling, simulation, and data-driven process optimisation.
This programme is designed for students and working professionals with a background in chemical engineering, chemistry, or related sciences who wish to deepen their expertise in computational modelling and explore emerging applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning within the chemical and biomedical industries.

Admission Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of honours (distinction) or equivalent from a reputable university.
- Minimum TOEFL score of 85 or IELTS score of 6.0 (only if your first degree was not taught in English).
- Special consideration may be given, on a case-by-case basis to applicants with relevant work experience and letters of recommendation.

The tuition fees for Academic Year 2026/27 are as follows:

* All fees shown are inclusive of 9% GST.
* The total tuition fee for the programme is S$46,800, based on 30 Academic Units (AUs). Fees are charged on a per-trimester basis according to the number of AUs taken, at a rate of S$1,560 per AU for AY2026/27.
Tuition fee supporting schemes include the following:
- 10% discount for NTU alumni
- S$5,000 subsidy for SC/SPR students, which may be increased to S$10,000 for those with demonstrated financial need.
Please note the following:
- All fees listed are INCLUSIVE of 9% GST.
- A non-refundable deposit of S$5,450 is payable upon acceptance of the offer.
- A one-time miscellaneous fee will be billed every academic year.
- Tuition fees do not include the cost of recommended textbooks and other course materials. Students are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and miscellaneous expenses.
- All incentives and subsidies will be distributed evenly across the billing period — either 3 trimesters for full-time students or 6 trimesters for part-time students.
- Fees are reviewed annually and are subject to revision.
