Accelerate your career in accounting and finance with Singapore's first and most established accounting school and embark on the MSc Accountancy (MACC) programme, a comprehensive 12-month full-time programme offering two specialised tracks: General and Data Analytics.

The MACC curriculum is meticulously crafted to equip participants with the essential skills for navigating the dynamic accounting landscape of the future. Engage with cutting-edge modules such as Forensic Accounting and Digital Forensics, as well as Data Analytics and Machine Learning for Accounting. Our programme ensures industry readiness by fostering strong connections with leading firms where selected modules are co-taught by experts from the renowned Big Four accounting companies.

The MACC programme is accredited by the Singapore Accountancy Commission (SAC) and graduates enrolled in the general track are able to fast track their professional accounting qualification journey by advancing directly to the Professional Programme of the Singapore Chartered Accountant Qualification. Additionally, regardless of which track participants are enrolled in, they will enjoy significant exemptions with international accounting bodies such as ICAEW, CPA Australia, ACCA, CI MA, to name a few.

Applicants who wish to apply to the MSc Accountancy are required to meet the minimum admission requirements below:

A good Bachelor's degree from any discipline
GMAT or GRE is optional
TOEFL/IELTS for applicants whose first degree was taught in a language other than English
Work experience is not required

The MSc Accountancy is a one-year full-time programme.

The programme covers 18 courses. Up to 2 waivers are allowed, based on previous extensive coverage in your undergraduate programme, subject to approval from the School. Waivers will be substituted with Master's level electives.

*All our courses are conducted in English, on NTU's vibrant campuses in Singapore.

With AI and Automation fast changing the world of accounting, we have updated our curriculum to include Data Analytics & Machine Learning for Accounting, as well as Forensic Accounting and Digital Forensics.

At the end of this programme, you will be able to successfully master the language of business and finance. You will also be able to gain direct access to the Professional Programme of the Singapore Chartered Accountant qualification. 

Graduates from the General Track can advance directly to the Professional Programme of the Singapore CA Qualification. The School’s strong connections with the international accounting bodies such as ICAEW, CPA Australia, ACCA, CIMA, to name a few, allows our graduates to fast track their professional accounting qualification journey.

The MSc Accountancy programme is also accredited by the Singapore Accountancy Commission (SAC) and Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA).
