Medical expenses for referrals made at the student’s request will not be reimbursed.

Specialist Outpatient Clinics (SOCs) at any Government Restructured Hospitals.

Medical expenses incurred in the non-subsidised specialist outpatient clinics of government restructured hospitals are reimbursable only at prorated Class B2 rates.

The list of Government Restructured Hospitals include:

- Alexandra Hospital
- Changi General Hospital
- Khoo Teck Puat Hospital
- National University Hospital
- Ng Teng Fong General Hospital
- Sengkang General Hospital
- Singapore General Hospital
- Tan Tock Seng Hospital

Please note that there are only 2 categories of patients at the Specialist Outpatient Clinics at government restructured hospitals – subsidized class and private paying class.

Subsidized patients apply only to Singapore citizens and permanent residents (PRs) that are referred through the government polyclinics.  Non-Singapore citizens and non-Singapore PRs will be categorized as private paying class patients even if referred through government polyclinics.

All patients, if referred to the SOCs of government restructured hospitals by private clinics will be classified as private class paying patients. Fullerton Health clinics are private clinics, and referrals to the SOCs of government restructured hospitals made by Fullerton Health clinics will also be considered as private paying class.

Singapore citizens and permanent residents who wish to be referred to the SOCs of government restructured hospitals as subsidized patients are advised to seek their referrals from a government polyclinic.

Full-time international students who are not eligible for subsidized class treatment at the government restructured hospitals may seek reimbursement from the Group Hospitalization and Surgical Insurance (if eligible) for their hospital expenses, only if referred by the Fullerton Health @ NTU campus clinic.
