Professor Ho Teck Hua

President and Distinguished University Professor

Professor Ho Teck Hua, a prominent behavioural scientist and academic, is the fifth President of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU), where he is a Distinguished University Professor. He is also the founding Executive Chairman of AI Singapore (AISG) and President of the Academy of Engineering, Singapore.

He spent two decades as an academic in the business schools of three renowned universities in the United States and returned to Singapore in 2015 as the first awardee of the Singapore National Research Foundation’s Returning Singaporean Scientists Scheme. Read more

Professor Ling San

Deputy President and Provost 

Prof Ling San is a mathematician and was Dean of the College of Science at NTU, before becoming Provost in January 2018. A passionate educator and a distinguished scholar, Prof Ling has been recognised for his contributions to science and education and is a Past President of the South East Asian Mathematical Society. Prof Ling’s research focuses on applications of algebra, number theory, coding theory and cryptography. Read more
