Counselling and Psychological Services

Counselling and Psychological Services
The University Counselling Centre (UCC) operates under University Wellbeing Office (UWO). Its primary focus is to provide professional counselling and psychological services to meet the psychological wellbeing needs of the student community.
UCC is located at Level 2 of University Health Service Building, 36 Nanyang Avenue, Singapore 639801.

If you are facing a psychological crisis, you can also go to the nearest hospital, call 999, or call Samaritans of Singapore (SOS) at 1-767 at any time of the day.
Wellbeing Development

An array of proactive and preventive programmes are conducted throughout the year. These are aimed at raising awareness of mental health and to enhance the community's ability to manage mental health issues, care for oneself and look out for others, as well as to develop resilience overall. These include talks, training workshops, events and activities such as the bi-monthly Discovery Talk series, Mastery Training series Psychological First Aid training workshops, Guardian Angel Initiative, Care Circles, Care Walks and campaigns such as World Mental Health Month and HERE4U.

The Wellbeing Collective
The Wellbeing Collective (TWC) is NTU’s Wellbeing Community of Practice (CoP), uniting passionate students and staff to champion mental health, wellbeing and a culture of support and care. An initiative under the University Wellbeing Office, TWC offers support, connection, and development through initiatives like Peer Helping Programme, Care Walks, evidence-based training and activities that build psychological resources, strengthen emotional resilience and inspire thriving.
