The Master of Science in Cybersecurity (MSCS) at NTU is a coursework-based graduate degree jointly offered by the College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS) and the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS). The programme equips professionals with the expertise to evaluate, protect, and manage information systems and digital infrastructures, ensuring the security of data and transactions in businesses, government, and society.
Building on foundations in computer science and information technology, the curriculum emphasises mastery of professional cybersecurity skills, from cryptography and network security to application security and threat detection. Students benefit from hands-on course projects and may also undertake an industrial attachment, ensuring practical exposure to real-world challenges.
The programme culminates in a two-semester Capstone Project, which can be completed through an internship or applied cybersecurity project, allowing students to integrate technical knowledge with industry experience. Graduates emerge ready to take on advanced roles as cybersecurity professionals, analysts, and leaders in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
