Industry Experiential Programmes

NTU Career and Attachment Office (CAO) collaborates with industry partners to offer a range of experiential career education programmes that benefit both students and employers. These programmes provide students with valuable industry exposure and opportunities to expand their professional networks. At the same time, employers can engage with students, identify suitable talent for their hiring needs, and contribute to the development of future professionals.

Our offerings include case competitions, hackathons, company visits, and mentorship programmes. Students are encouraged to participate from their first year at NTU to gain early insights into various industries.

Organisations interested in collaborating with us can contact [email protected] for more details.

NTU PEAK

NTU PEAK is a month-long leadership development programme that CAO co-designs with industry partners to develop high potential students into industry-relevant future leaders for the workplace and community.

In this accelerated leadership development programme, students have the opportunity to be mentored by industry professionals and work in interdisciplinary teams to contribute fresh perspectives and solutions to help organisations tackle real-world business challenges with a focus on Sustainability and Technology.

Hackathons and Case Challenges

Hackathons and case challenges provide students with experiential learning as we collaborate with different industry partners to foster an environment in which students come together to learn from each other, share skills and help provide solutions for actual business problems.

Company Visits

Company visits offer students a deeper insight into the company or industry where employers display their domain expertise. It provides an excellent opportunity for students to engage the line managers and alumni to understand more about the work culture, challenges, career journey, learning points and insights about the industry trends and market outlook.

veNTUre

veNTUre is a short-term industry project programme that connects industry partners with self-directed students to supply digital and data solutions for business problems.

Projects run from 6 to 8 weeks, providing employers with an efficient way to acquire innovative ideas and solutions from student problem-solvers, while identifying suitable talents for their hiring needs. There are no formal assessments and all students will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the projects.
