The Master of Arts in AI Ethics and Society is a humanities-anchored postgraduate programme that focuses on the ethical, social, cultural, and governance dimensions of artificial intelligence. It combines AI literacy, ethical reasoning, and real-world application to help students understand and shape the role of AI in society. Designed for graduates and professionals from diverse backgrounds, the programme bridges technology and the humanities through an interdisciplinary curriculum, industry engagement, and flexible capstone opportunities. The admission requirements are as follow:
- A good bachelor’s degree (Honours with Second Class Upper or equivalent GPA) from a recognised university in any discipline.
- Applicants whose native language is not English are required to have an IELTS* overall score of at least 7; or a TOEFL iBT* Score of 5 and above.
- Candidates may be interviewed to assess their suitability for postgraduate studies and for a holistic assessment of their academic capacity.
- No prior course work or training in computer science, philosophy, or any specific field is required.
