NTU Varsity Sports Association (VSA) is a student body consisting of athletes representing the University in major University Games. There are a total of 58 Student Sports teams that are under the care of VSA, consisting of Varsity Sports, Club Teams and Varsity Developmental Teams.
These like-minded athletes form the Executive Committee of the VSA, who work together across different portfolios in VSA such as Sports Education, Community & Engagement, Media, Publicity & Branding, and Athlete Well-Being & Recognition, to provide enriching experiences for varsity athletes.
The VSA aims to initiate positive changes to aid student athletes in excelling in their respective sports, enhancing their overall sporting experience. Additionally, VSA represents the voices of the athletes and serves as a bridge between the university and the athletes.
Apart from celebrating and recognizing athletes’ sporting achievements, VSA organizes events and activities to promote cohesion amongst our athletes. Some of these events include regular Focus Group Discussions, Captains Engagement Sessions, Sports Learning Events and collaborative works with other NTU student bodies. Additionally, VSA conducts talks and workshops to improve athletes’ sporting knowledge, supporting them in their quest to continue excelling in their sport.
