A viral hand-drum pedagogue (1M-view creator) who marries performance with cutting edge e-learning and industry-ready sound curricula, Shawn is a musician, sound designer and edupreneur recognised for pioneering hand-drum methods that shaped modern Djembe/Cajon styles across Asian social media. He teaches widely in Singapore (National Institute of Education, University of the Arts Singapore, Republic Polytechnic, Singapore Media Academy Mediacorp) and China (Tianjin and Dalian music conservatory, MIDI music school, etc.).
