The Translation for Impact (T4I) Symposium brings together 120 to 150 researchers, educational leaders, practitioners and policymakers to strengthen the research-practice-policy nexus in line with RIE2030. The keynote address will be delivered by Professor Elizabeth Farley-Ripple, Professor of Education, co-Director of the Center for Research Use in Education, and Director of the Partnership for Public Education at the University of Delaware.

Themed "From Research to Educational Transformation", the one-day symposium will feature a keynote, breakout sessions and panel discussions, and opportunities for the exploring of practical approaches to translate research into policy and practice, the engaging of different stakeholders, and the strengthening of connections between research and real-world educational needs.

Participants will also have opportunities to connect across roles and sectors, share experiences and learn from different approaches to use research to make a difference in education.

Keynote Speaker

Dr Elizabeth N. Farley-Ripple

Professor, School of Education, University of Delaware
Co-Director, Center for Research Use in Education
Director, Partnership for Public Education

Dr Elizabeth N. Farley-Ripple has more than 20 years of experience in education research. Her work focuses on evidence use, knowledge mobilisation and educational leadership, including how educators use research and data, and how connections between research, policy and practice can be strengthened.

Her research has been supported by major foundations and organisations, and has been published in leading journals including Educational Researcher, AERA Open and Educational Policy. She holds a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania.
