Overview

The National Institute of Education, Singapore, offers high quality and rigorous graduate programmes that will challenge your thinking, develop your skills and boost your career prospects. With a long tradition of innovation in teacher education, our graduate programmes have contributed to the academic and professional development of thousands of educators in Singapore. We are also seeing an increasing number of other professionals and international students joining our alumni each year.

The four categories of graduate programmes offered at NIE are:

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
  • Master's by Coursework (M.A., M.Sc, and M.Ed)
  • PhD and Master's by Research (Ph.D., M.A. and M.Sc.)
  • Doctor in Education (Ed.D)

In line with SkillsFuture Singapore's (SSG) initiative, we also offer modular graduate courses so that individuals have the option of progressing to a Master's progamme upon completion of these courses.
