The Office of Academic & Faculty Affairs (AFA) is committed to providing a nurturing environment that allows faculty members to realise their full potential as a professor, a lecturer or a research staff, within the governing university policies.
The AGs are the delivery agencies for undergraduate, graduate and professional learning courses in the resident programmes for teacher-education and teacher-development.
The National Institute of Education (NIE), an autonomous institute of the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore is among the world’s top education institutes, renowned for its excellence in teacher education and education research.
Ranked 11th in the QS World University Rankings (2023) in Education, our institute consists of 10 academic groups and research centres and labs. Members of our faculty enjoy access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources, including research grants and funding, and opportunities to collaborate with leading experts in educational research.
