SingTeach is a quarterly e-magazine by the Office for Research at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NIE NTU, Singapore). Designed to translate research to inform evidence-based practice, articles are written with teachers in mind. It distils big ideas from current research into clear takeaways, bite-sized insights and tried-and-tested strategies. It includes inspiring stories from real classrooms across a myriad of topics. SingTeach facilitates the exchange of information on piloting efforts between researchers from NIE and educational professionals, including teachers and school leaders from across Singapore. Through each project, research findings are not just developed to directly inform educational practice but also, demonstrates how research evidence comes alive through informed practice over various phases and time.
This unique dynamic on how researchers at NIE partner with teachers and students to generate innovative solutions and advance critical thinking processes, provide crucial information that deepens understanding and strengthens insight needed to continuously redesign ways to tackle education challenges and the future.
