HSSE-MAHE Student Development Allowances and Awards (SDAA)

Rationale

The HSSE-MAHE Student Development Allowance and Awards (SDAA) is a tiered graduate student research support scheme created to support and incentivize Master of Arts in Humanities Education (MAHE) students' academic and professional development. The different tiers and quantum of allowance/awards reflect the strengths and academic performance of the MAHE applicants/students. 

Overall, the SDAA scheme has been created with the intention to:

  • Strengthen the MAHE programme's attractiveness to high-calibre applicants from around the world;
  • Recognise excellent academic performance in students
  • Encourage student leadership and programme advocacy
  • Support students' research and career development
